Green looks nice against a wide range of colors and you use it effectively here. The waist and arms feel a rigid caught between a more realistic approach and a more stylized piece but it's a good start for transition. The only other thing I would say is be more confident in your backgrounds- define them. I really like what you did with the border and white cutouts.
